Youtube - Number 1 Social Site From Alexa

I found out this bit of information from Jack Humphrey's Blog Marketing Blog. It recently posted a list of the top 10 social sites from Alexa (A website that tracks the traffic of other websites). And it has ruled out that Youtube.com is the #1 social site on the internet....followed by Myspace.

What does this mean to an internet marketer? Isn't it obvious? Youtube is a marketing goldmine! With more than millions of users, and more than thousands of videos being played daily, it's no wonder that it's an internet marketers dream! But of course, this is old news on how well youtube can help out the fellow marketer.

I'm just merely stating that youtube is the number 1 used social site on the internet, and reminding you readers, that if you're not marketing on youtube, than you're missing out my friend!

A Few Updates

Here's just some quick updates on some of my programs and websites. I've got to study some, so I'm just going to post this and be on my way. Down with school! JK.

The Prodigious Online Money Making E-course

I've taken a bit of a break from my Prodigious Online Money Making E-course videos, but I'll be putting them back up in a few days. I've just been really swamped with my finals, and have been studying like a jackrabbit. I wish I had more time to work on my websites and blogs! But alas...I'm still only a high school student. Boo-hoo.

But summer is clear on it's way, so be sure to see lot's of me once this week's over!

Started Using Twitter

I just got into this whole new way of marketing with a website called Twitter, and I've yet to unlock how well it is to market in it...but I've heard great results come from these twitter accounts, so I'll keep you posted.

Maybe some you readers have some advice on this new trend? If so, post a comment, and get me updated! : )

"Digg" Your Blogs Popularity

This is a little secret that I just tapped into that you can use in order to increase your blogs popularity, and hit count. It's called digging, and I'm more than sure that you have already heard about it.

But this little technique has a trick to it. And it's a really simple trick actually, but it's a trick that can increase your blogs subscribers by more than 300%!

First, you have to create a digg account at www.Digg.com, and set up your own free profile. Yes, this service is completely free. Now that you've created your account, you have to then put this little javascript code onto every one of your blog posts...

<script src="http://digg.com/tools/diggthis.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>

Once you publish your text, you'll see a little picture in the top-left hand corner of your new blog post that looks like this...

Now you've got a little script where everytime someone presses the "Digg it" button, your blog posts gets posted onto a very popular bookmarking website, and for every other digg that the content gets, you get another step higher to a better visitor count.

Even better, anyone that's signed up with digg, can digg your post! You get your subscribers to interact with your blog, causing even more interaction with your readers. It's a win win situation that can't hurt you.

To help you guys out even more, you can even digg your own blog to get yourself started! So go check it out, and make sure that you read the rules and guidelines to make sure that your account doesn't get deleted. This is a very helpful tool that you don't want to be without in your blogging days to come!
